Webcam Pros: Works as advertised - 1080p at 30fps. Pleased with the quality of the video capture and the ability to work with different lighting levels/colors in my workspace. Works well in low light mode, even with a single dimly lit monitor lit over 6ft away, it was able to record detailed and well-lit videos at a capture rate of 15-25 fps. I've used this camera to teach a colleague a detail-oriented skill and was able to get decent product close-ups and perfectly decent audio. It works well with a wide angle to capture a wide space. I did a massage table demo with small tables at each end and it showed the whole room at a reasonable distance. Totally satisfied with this camera. Definitely better than I expected based on $Webcam. Cons: - Snapshot function is quite limited - 2MP. A bit grainy, especially in the background. But who buys a webcam to take static photos? - The aspect ratio is a bit strange. It's a wide angle that can be really good for some things (I did a demo of a massage table and the whole table was clearly visible), but it does make the walls in the background slightly skewed. - Colors slightly washed out. , oddly enough, I had a better impression of dim light than bright light. Definitely good, but not outstanding either. - The protective cover for the camera is assembled by yourself. This isn't a huge disadvantage, it was very easy to install - the pickup is only on one side. I didn't notice the problem, just pointing out that this isn't stereo sound for those who care.
