To be honest, my expectations were low. However, I've been looking for something similar at a beach resort over the coming week. I put my phone in a waterproof case, but I've found that these cases tend to be "mostly waterproof" and I need a safe place to store my phone when I'm done anyway. Most waterproof bags I've seen are large. I may be getting old, but I'm not a fanny pack. At least not yet. It's big enough for my phone and a few small items. And it's totally waterproof. It has a very strong zipper and then you fold it up and fasten it with velcro. It won't hold much, but if you want to get in the water with a few things, this is a really good option. If you just need something to keep you dry in the rain it might be overkill but it will definitely get the job done.
