I ordered 2 sets so I have 2 remote controls and 4 sockets. I have 3 Christmas lights upstairs and I want to turn them all on at the same time. I connected the second set's socket to the first set's remote, so the buttons on the 1st remote would work with all three sockets. Pairing was really easy. I wired them up in the kitchen so I could see and taste them all. I had to pair the on button, then the off button. It worked really well. Don't be afraid of directions. Simply press and hold the power button on the outlet until it flashes, then press the power button you want to use on the remote. Repeat for the power off button. I was able to control all 3 sockets upstairs with a remote downstairs under the rooms. We used to have a remote socket for HF devices, but it died after 30 years. After much research I decided that an HF unit would be best and this one fit the bill perfectly. Now I have an extra outlet and a remote control that I can use for something else. Also, 2 sockets were paired with 2 separate buttons from the box and the second box was not paired with the first.
