Review on πŸ’» Unlocked Desktop Processor with Radeon RX Graphics: AMD Ryzen 5 3400G - 4 Cores, 8 Threads by Stanislaw Siwak ᠌

Revainrating 5 out of 5

The quality is at the level, I am satisfied with everything.

I must say right away that I own both the Ryzen 5 3400G and the predecessor 2400G. And I’ll note right away that the stone was heavily optimized in terms of the processor part, so much so that in some synthetic tests the new product goes ahead by 25-30%. However, in most tasks you will have an increase of 300Mhz, which is added to the processor boost. According to the graph, the increase is even less if we compare both stones in stock. With overclocking, the novelty has a better situation than the old 2400G, here the percentage is naturally colder and calmly takes 4.2Ghz for the CPU and 1600Mhz for the GPU without increasing the voltage. In fairness, I note that I overclock not on a BOX cooler, but paired with a BeQuiet Pure Rock tower, warming up in a stress test no higher than 75 degrees Celsius. There was no miracle in overclocking the memory, I was subdued by a frequency of 3200Mhz with an increase in the DRAM voltage to 1.35V. The same kit runs at 3600Mhz with a Core i5 8400 on an AsRock Z370. I advise the processor to buy for those who are not particularly involved in overclocking, out of the box you can play undemanding online games at medium graphics settings in the region of 50-60fps in FHD.

Pros
  • Until recently, if I had heard that it was possible to play on an AMD "integration" in GTA V on "high" graphics settings, with a stable 45-50fps - I would never have believed it.
Cons
  • For me, there are none, except that, at the start of sales, the disadvantages include the overpriced price by hucksters by 15-20%.
