Review on 🤿 OCTOMASK - Frameless Dive Mask: Capture Underwater Adventures with GoPro Hero Cameras for Scuba Diving, Snorkeling, Freediving by Andrew Spainhour

Really wanted this mask. It felt and looked pretty premium. The mount felt very secure and held my GoPro camera out of the water well. Unfortunately, it didn't quite work underwater. The silicone skirt of this mask is very, very soft. I have four masks and this one has been suspiciously soft since I tried it on. I really wanted to believe it was some super whimsical, super light material that would fit and hold itself. No, it's really just bad silicone for this purpose. Licks everywhere from the first dive. Because the skirt is so soft, the metal frame also puts quite a crushing pressure on my face before I'm about 20 feet. It may be suitable for scuba diving, but will not withstand even moderate pressure at depth. However, every face is different, so take my review with a grain of salt. I'm sure this works perfectly for someone out there. Note (which did not affect my rating): Did I smell VERY strongly of any type of perfume/soap? My girlfriend insisted it was some kind of chemical, but I'm pretty sure it's some kind of cleansing scent. Anyway, it made me sick. Either Revain sent me a VERY obviously used item, or the manufacturing standards need to be revised.
