TLDR: Simply put, the case doesn't provide good airflow and the included 80mm fan doesn't do a good job of pushing warm air out. It's also a noisy fan and 80x15mm fans aren't common, leaving you with few replacement options. Before placing it in this case, I ran an open testbed assembly to compare performance. With the 4690k and NH-L9i cooler, temperatures in this case were about 10-20Β°C warmer at each of the 5 different fan speeds I tried. For comparison, the L9i was 56 C warmer than ambient at just 1300 RPM outdoors, while on the B1 I had to run both the CPU and case fans at 2600 RPM to maintain the same temperature. Also, the InWin case fan (54db) is louder than the Noctua A9x14 (47db) fan at the same speed, so you can see again that the included case fan is not suitable for this case. I'll update this review later if swapping out the fan for an air intake makes a difference. At first I thought it would work. Also, it's easy to embed and you can take it apart again very quickly. I also like the ease of replacing hard drives. It also looks very good and seems to be quite durable. I just wish it had better ventilation and a 92mm fan (so I can replace it with a Noctua or other fan).
