Easy to install - just make sure you have the right tools.

watch youtube video first before buying. " 2005-2006 Toyota Tundra Sequoia Performance Cold Air Intake Filter Kit K&N 57-9027 Installation "There are a few things other than "unscrew the old one and bolt on the new". You can follow the instructions provided which are decent and have lots of photos. I spent 45 minutes myself. Saw where it is recommended to wait 90 minutes. There is a step that requires you to drill out a rivet to cut off some of the plastic that is in the way of the new air filter. Directions recommends tin snips. This can be done with a hacksaw, jigsaw, or grinder with a cut-off wheel. The material is too thick for a Dremel or utility knife. After you drill out the rivet making the cuts I would go ahead and install a new rivet. The manual doesn't mention this at all. One of the final steps is to bolt the existing bracket to the new pipe using the original bolt. I rotated the mount 180 before screwing it back on. This will help keep the hose and air intake away from the radiator fan. Also, once the installation is "complete", you will have an "extra" plastic wire "latch" on top of the airbox. It was used to hold the MAF sensor wiring in its original position. He is no longer needed. You can clean it with a grinder or a dremel. You can also scratch off the "K&N" embossing on the new MAF cover. The K&N on the new tube is actually wired into the tube so you can't loop it in. One more thing - as long as you have a drill - you can remove the charcoal filter at the top of the airbox. This is to prevent engine fumes escaping from the air intake when you park the car. This appears to restrict airflow even more. It is held in place by 6 plastic tips around the perimeter. They can be drilled out like a metal rivet. Put on latex/nitrile gloves. Since this is a 2006 classic car, every part you work on will be dirty unless you clean under the hood regularly. Have fun!
