I love cake frosting but other than that it's very very cheap and disappointing. Sometimes Amazon reviews make me feel like people are expecting an Inspector Gadget Grade product, so I try to be sensible when ordering based on my expectations. I'm not a pro and just needed something for a random birthday or a birthday cake I'm baking. With all that being said, I thought this product was mostly a joke. I used to just use a cake stand on a lazy susan instead of a poor man's cake plate and I think it worked as well as it did - OR BETTER! And I didn't have to spend any money on it. The cake stand is made out of such cheap plastic that it actually moves like some fantasy kitchen toy or something. There is nothing smooth about the rotation. The icing scraper is fine, it does the job, but I don't feel it makes very smooth lines. It's a shame I wasted my money on this.
