I had the opportunity to try these gloves on the slopes last week and am very happy with them. While the gloves weren't bulky, they kept my hands warm in 20 to 35 degrees Fahrenheit even in windy conditions. The gloves are longer than other ski gloves I've had and fit over the ends of coat sleeves, which helps retain heat even better. I also had no problems with water getting in, even though the gloves got wet. The gloves work with touchscreen phones as advertised; This feature was less useful, however, as typing on a screen with a gloved hand proved difficult, if not particularly awkward. Despite that caveat, these are great gloves even at triple the price and I'll be ordering another pair.
