I bought this for a cartilage piercing. I have very sensitive ears that react to almost anything except surgical steel. I wanted something different so I tried it. I've been wearing it for 4 days in a row now. I didn't take it to sleep or shower. Pros: - Cute! - True color. - So far it hasn't fallen out. surgical steel. - it was beautifully packaged and came with a free gift which is a plain black hoop that can also penetrate my cartilage. Haven't tried the gift yet (sensitive ears again). - I got several compliments! Cons: Pretty awkward to insert. It took me a minute to get it right. Not exactly a fault with the jewelry itself, but rather my clumsiness. You have to bend it to get it, but it folds back easily. I'm just wondering how well it holds up to getting in and out of it frequently.
