Review on 🔧 AC Blower Control Module - Replaces 1580567, 93803636, 89018778 - Chevy, Cadillac, GMC - Silverado, Trailblazer, Envoy, Sierra - Heater Blower Resistor by Christopher Sullivan

This control unit was a direct replacement for my 2005 GMC Sierra with automatic climate control. It was easy to replace with no special tools after I figured out how to remove the fan motor using Youtube. The old wiring harness did not have to be cut or spliced as with other ECUs. You may need to consider a different type of control module if your wiring harness is brittle or burned out. I estimate it took me about 45 minutes to get the replacement as it was my first time. I could easily replace another in 20 minutes. By the way, before I bought it, I used a multimeter to diagnose my original control unit as a defective part. So far everything works and I'm very satisfied.
