The Intel migration software worked great and worked!

Had ordered a ride and he came the second day after sitting on the porch all day he had a little cold. Follow the PDF installation on the minidisk that came with the drive. It said to download Intel's migration software, which I did. I then plugged the drive into my computer and connected it to available power. I connected the included SATA cable to one of the two 6GB SATA ports on the motherboard. There are 4 other 3GB SATA connectors on my motherboard, all of which have been used. a Vertex 2 80GB C: drive and the rest a Western Digital drive and a few DVDs. Turned on PC and Windows Device Manager sees a new Intel 520 240GB SSD. So I run the installer for the migration software. I couldn't create a shortcut on my Windows desktop, which frustrated me for a minute. But I found the program in Program Files (x86)/Intel folder. I ran the migration utility and it has a very simple interface. I cloned the Vertex 2 to a new Intel drive. It took about 5-10 minutes. Once done, I swapped the SATA cables between the Vertex and Intel as instructed. After rebooting, the PC could not find BOOTMGR and stopped. After a while I realized it was my other Western Digital hard drive. I found the BIOS setting to boot on Intel and it started. I then switched the Intel drive back to a 6GB SATA connector, had to tweak the BIOS again and am now using a new Intel SSD with more storage.
