I bought an air purifier because I suffer a lot during the pollen season and because I have two large dogs that smell like dogs. I run this all the time in my family room where we spend most of our time and the difference in air quality is noticeable. I never sneeze in this room and it smells fresh and clean even with my dogs and their beds. It's a very quiet device, even at maximum speed. I bought a second one for my bedroom and it doesn't disturb my sleep. A slight hum is like having a sleep machine in your room. What I really like is that you can add essential oils. There's a little pad on top that absorbs oils and that's what makes the room smell so good. I have used a diffuser in the past but it works as well or better than a diffuser and uses a lot less oil. I can put a few drops on my pad on Monday and don't add more until Wednesday or Thursday. This is a great feature.
