Works but the button is a bit fiddly and a bit short.
This is great for lighting candles, but if you want to use it for a fireplace or camp stove, I think it falls short. The arc created is hot enough to ignite the wicks and gas flame. .The body of the device is made of plastic and its design is a bit like a disposable butane lighter. The button is a bit counter-intuitive in the sense that you have to open it up (a few clicks) so you can press the button and cause a spark. Charging is easy and I've used it for a couple of hikes and haven't had to charge it yet so battery life seems very good. I only wish it was about 3 inches longer to get under the pot on the stove.
