This Sony a6000 lens is incredibly sharp. Bought for portraits after looking at photos in the Sigma catalog. I uploaded photos of them and greatly enlarged the hair of the female models and figured these photos must have been carefully photoshopped to get so much detail. I figured if I were going to buy a lens I'd be fine with 1/2 sharpness. Much to my delight, the first model shoot I did yielded exactly the same results I saw in the catalog straight from the camera in .jpeg format. I really wanted to see the raw results, but I realized I forgot to enable RAW in Sony! If all the JPEGs are the same as mine then I don't even need RAW files. It's just an amazing lens and none of my Canon cameras can even come close. not to mention the price. I bought the silver model because it fits my silver Sony A6000. It's a very small prime lens and I like it. Combined with the Sony a6000, it becomes my favorite camera: As a result of my tests, my Canon equipment has found its way into the camera bag. Just buy it at an unbeatable price.
