A good product, but having its own defects.

"Rejection" inside a non-working lens is not a defect, but a design feature of most Sigmas. Shot examples: link Sigma 60 f2.8 Its pros: -Very sharp. Maximum sharpness from open, and up to f8. Uniform resolution over the entire field of the frame with an open. Almost complete absence of distortion and HA. Subtle vignetting only in the open. Relatively fast autofocus. Solid assembly: Glass and metal, “Made in Japan” is felt in every detail, smooth rotation of the focusing ring, absolute…

A nice option for the money, one of the best deals.

On stabilization: Icompare sel50f18, when stabilization is working, it starts to soap strongly along the edges of the frame, there is no sigma, because. there is no stub (although it’s possible to turn it off at half a mark)) The subject gives an interesting picture and is faster when focusing. It's cheap and works flawlessly. An example of a photo with retouching and slight toning

Pros
  • Sharpness at 2.8, interesting color reproduction, lack of stabilization (I will describe below), fast autofocus (on a6000), PRICE! Took for 7990.
Cons
  • Crackling, non-parking autofocus mechanism after turning off, easily soiled body, lack of eye af support (focusing on the eyes). But these are trifles!

Great value for the money, definitely recommended!

I had and have a lot of different lenses for both Sony and Canon. I shoot on crop and ff. There were other systems. In short, there is something to compare. There was sigma 30 / 2.8 and 30 / 1.4 - in general, I am a photodro. Er :) And yes, I look at the pictures pixel by pixel (with the exception of helios), because I buy photographic equipment to get the maximum quality, otherwise take off the phone. This lens is flawless. Yes, I would like a stub, but I would like 1.4. But it’s other money…

Pros
  • - excellent sharpness across the field, starting from f2.8. At 3.5-4, it is generally impeccable from edge to edge. Further - only to spoil. Those who like pixel-by-pixel sharpness - this is your option. Stock photography, landscape, subject. very good for a studio - with NEX-6 or a3000/a3500, perhaps the best kit for a leisurely studio for ridiculous money. None of the clients will ever see the difference with A7 + 85 / 1.8. Only autofocus is inferior, of course. With a6000 and above, it’s already generally fire in PM both in autofocus and in a 24mp matrix, which the lens “resolves” with ease, I think the new 30mp sonicrop will also calmly pull. - a very pleasant contrast, I don’t know how to explain and what to connect with, but it is this series (30 / 2.8 and 60 / 2.8) that has a very pleasant picture in terms of contrast and volume (almost like on ff)) - low level of aberrations, distortions, vignetting, even in open mode. Slightly cover up and generally ideal. - resale price in 2022 I took it for 7500, I think this is adequate, because for 12-13 you can already buy SEL5018OSS - there are advantages and disadvantages, but still it is faster and with a stub. - the lens hood is small, just such that it would slightly protect the lens from contact with the bag, so you can wear it without a cover. (for example, I sawed off the Sony hood, because there was still no sense from it, but it took up space in the bag). the standard 16-50 also fits into the lens hood, so you can wear one in the other (it also doesn’t reach the lens). - design. Everyone hates its sleekness, but in my opinion it's a great minimalistic design. attaching a corrugated elastic band is not a problem at all, who needs it. - bokeh. Good unobtrusive Sigma bokeh. Not artistic, like a helios, but completely adequate and usable, in a minute it is blurred in Photoshop to "type 1,8" or "type 1,4" :) You need to understand that on a 60mm bokeh it's still much more noticeable, with the same aperture than 30mm or 16mm. - size and weight are fully consistent with the concept of mirrorless.
Cons
  • - missing MF / AF switch on the body - something dangles inside when it is not connected - it does not affect anything, but it scares - takes a little cold tone - the filter thread is not very running (46) I ordered an adapter for Ali - I put a magnifying glass filter to reduce the MDF and get "almost a macro". The margin of sharpness of the lens is such that the lens does not spoil it very much. But you still need to order macro rings, I think, due to sharpness, you should get an excellent macro lens. True, how he will show himself at f10-16 - xs. I will add later))

An ideal product for any type of consumer.

In general, a wonderful glass - especially considering the cost and dimensions. A travel portrait lens - in most cases it will find a place in a bag, and thanks to AF and "workability" from an open position, you can shoot with it almost without being distracted by the technical side of things. I like the focal length - more portrait-suitable than the classic fifty dollars. The bokeh is hard - this must be taken into account in the presence of a colorful background. And in general, this is not…

Pros
  • 1. Razor sharpness. One of the sharpest glasses for the Sony E mount (on crop) and certainly the sharpest for the money. 2. No complaints about the quality of the picture - XA, distortion, vignette - all this is within the limits of practical invisibility on real frames. The glass is absolutely and unconditionally working from the open. 3. Nice price, especially in comparison with glasses from Sony. With the onset of the crisis in 2022 retail, it is cheaper than in foreign online stores. 4. Modest weight and size characteristics. 5. Comes with case and lens hood.
Cons
  • 1. Poor resistance to backlight - the picture loses contrast a lot. The native hood is short and does not always cope with its duties. 2. Thread for filters 46 mm. - not the most popular value. Use 49mm filters. uncomfortable because of the hood. 3. "Clunking" in the off state - it interferes not by itself, but with the understanding that the lens elements are not "parked" and beat each other with strong shaking. I don't know how damaging this is. 4. A completely smooth focus ring (but wide, with a smooth ride and is not blocked by a hood in the "traveling" position). Subjective: 5. Relatively hard bokeh.

Feel free to buy, for such a price, the quality is simply amazing.

Sigma has made an impossible leap in quality by releasing a phenomenal series of DN Art fixes. I licked my lips at him for a very long time and now - I have him. Everything that is written in the reviews and reviews is pure truth - I unconditionally advise you to purchase the entire series The lens is used on Sony a5000, then I will study its sharpness on other cameras. This glass is indispensable for creating huge panoramas in excess of high resolution - you don’t need any D800 with a bunch…

Pros
  • 1) Phenomenal, wildest, screaming animal sharpness and resolution! THE MOST SHARP FIX EVER! for this system. Only the latest 65mm DN E is better than it It even rings at 2.8 - the subsidence of the very corners is barely noticeable and is not noticeable at all when resizing the photo. Resolution starts to drop slightly only after F16. Complete absence of chromatosis and other aberrations 2) Absolutely zero distortion over the entire field - nothing needs to be corrected at all. Ideal glass for panoramas, art reproductions, film photos without a scanner, all possible flat textures, etc. 3) A ridiculous price in the secondary market - for 8-10 thousand you get a lens that cruelly buries, digs in, tears like a heating pad, all expensive zooms combined for Sony E, any Chinese products including sharp and good lenses. Any soviet poltos on the F11 also go through the forest. Any Zenitars and Khrenotars there too 4) Very small, light. An excellent trunk in the kit, to which the lens fits with a hood put on in a combat position - it is not necessary to remove it 5) Accurate correct color reproduction and excellent contrast
Cons
  • 1) Doubtful survivability - requires careful handling and storage, easily soiled and scratched body. Especially easily soiled in black - buy a good special case. fotik-lens selected for this bundle 2) The absence of any pronounced pattern, this lens is not creative (in the traditional sense of the word). The optical scheme is sharpened for impeccable technical quality and sharpness at all apertures across the entire field of the frame. For the same reason, the lens is relatively small aperture for its focal length. For many photo maniacs, it may seem boring 3) Sometimes it catches small glare against the sun 4) Large MDF - limited fit for small items

Perfect purchase for me, exactly what I was looking for!

though plastic, but what! a toy, of course, but of high quality and inexpensive, the picture is good for everyone, only the bokeh is rude. Different pros: sigma is on top, price is just super, focusing is fast and accurate, color reproduction is normal, sharpness is pleasantly surprising, new design looks good with nex With its cons. when the camera is turned off, the autofocus or stub mechanism (I don’t know what exactly) unlocks and dangles inside like it’s in an hole and rattles a little

Revainrating 3 out of 5

The quality is ok on the whole, it has some small flaws.

If in general, according to the picture, then the glass is not bad, the center is sharp at all apertures up to f / 10, XA, in principle, tolerable, AF does not work at lightning speed, but quite decently. There are obvious problems with centering, the edge is washed, and up to f / 5.6 inclusive. True, unpretentious users may not notice this, since in most plots the edges are still blurred, and no one usually shoots landscapes on such glasses. When power is not applied to the lens, something…

Pros
  • Sharp in the center with open Aperture Probably the price, although I'm not sure for this quality of manufacture
Cons
  • Very flimsy, won't last long Quality corresponds to the price, a lot of marriage

Inexpensive and super sharp

I use this lens on my Sony A6000. This is the sharpest autofocus lens I have for the A6000. Very good portrait lens. I highly recommend it. It's a fairly low price at $200 (new) and as sharp as $1000 Zeiss lenses. F2.8 is fast enough for most situations and the depth of field is good. I think this lens offers the best value for money of any prime lens I've looked at. Two reasons I didn't give it 5 stars: 1) The internal AF motor moves, giving the feeling that something is broken in the lens…

Pros
  • New
Cons
  • A few little things

At this price I think there will be some great and some not so good. The one I got seems to be on par, no better than the Sigma 30mm DN I already have. I'm not entirely sure if 60/90 is the right range for my taste. I'm having a hard time finding better shots, so it's probably a better portrait lens than an all-rounder, as several people before me have commented. I love the color and contrast of Sigma E-mount lenses. More popular than Sony but not as colorful as Canon in the same price range. I

Highly recommended - just buy it

Wow, what a great lens! I have some Sigma lenses for my APSc system but this is the first Sigma lens for my m4/3 system. In general, I have great respect for Sigma lenses. Their 70mm f/2.8 macro lens for APSc is one of the sharpest lenses with very good background detail. I still build the m4/3 line of lenses. I have 12-100 for travel and 12-40 for other situations where size and weight are less critical. I also have 75-300. So I have a gap between 40 and 75; That's where this Sigma 60 comes…

Pros
  • Excellent construction
Cons
  • So far so good

Incredibly sharp lens

This Sony a6000 lens is incredibly sharp. Bought for portraits after looking at photos in the Sigma catalog. I uploaded photos of them and greatly enlarged the hair of the female models and figured these photos must have been carefully photoshopped to get so much detail. I figured if I were going to buy a lens I'd be fine with 1/2 sharpness. Much to my delight, the first model shoot I did yielded exactly the same results I saw in the catalog straight from the camera in .jpeg format. I really…
