Review on Sigma 60Mm F2 8 Silver Micro by Black Miller

Wow, what a great lens! I have some Sigma lenses for my APSc system but this is the first Sigma lens for my m4/3 system. In general, I have great respect for Sigma lenses. Their 70mm f/2.8 macro lens for APSc is one of the sharpest lenses with very good background detail. I still build the m4/3 line of lenses. I have 12-100 for travel and 12-40 for other situations where size and weight are less critical. I also have 75-300. So I have a gap between 40 and 75; That's where this Sigma 60 comes in. It's exceptionally sharp and smooth throughout the frame. With this Sigma I now have f/2.8 from 12mm to 60mm! AF is fast and safe without hesitation. A longer FL is not necessary for me, so the Oly 75 is not in my plans mainly because of the costs. This Sigma is so good and so cheap that it really isn't a problem for me. The construction is solid like other Sigmas I have. The chatter can be a bit annoying, but doesn't seem to affect the lens' performance. Conclusion: highly recommended.
