Great for workshop enthusiasts

Quick Review: Works, buy! Historical overview: I am not a professional or even semi-professional. Okay, hardly an amateur. Where did I go with that? Oh yes, how cool, I think it works! About a week ago I didn't even know they existed then I started watching a YouTube video I was researching about a bench grinder and it talked about wheel dressing. Hmm interesting. looks very easy, i just order one now and when i choose my coffee grinder i'm ready. It turns out I was almost right. The tool arrived the day after my grinder, which is fine - I had to play with the grinder a bit and get it a little dirty. So far my main use hasn't really been extreme, but I have used my grinder to carve out the area for my quarter turn to match our transition pieces and but in front of the existing quarter turn, a task that would be a little more difficult. I might add that this is a challenge without my trusty new grinder. As soon as I finished the day I noticed my wheels were quite clogged with laminate, what should I do I asked? Ah, air. I'll just use a fan and blow it out. No, it didn't work - now what!? Here is my new bandage tool. Yes I know how to do it, I saw the YouTube video! A couple of quick (but very well executed passes I must say) and they looked brand new! A word of caution, it ejects some particles so be careful, use protection. Very happy with the ease of use and I must point out that mine looked evenly covered, unlike some I've read that had a few highlights, your results may vary.

Pros
  • Hands-free operation
Cons
  • Very expensive
