Not the prettiest solution but it works

This baby gate is longer than most and works really well in the 60 inch opening that separates my dining room and kitchen from my living room and the rest of the house . My niece will soon be two and she fits into EVERYTHING these days so I needed a barrier to keep her out of the kitchen no matter how inelegant the solution was. These gates require you to drill holes in the walls on each side to install them, and the two walls need to be as close to parallel as possible or they could come loose on one of the hooks. It includes two sets of mounting brackets and hooks. So if you have two different doors that you need to block at different times, you can install hardware in both areas and then simply move the gate from one area to the other and back again as needed. This comes with a template to make it easy to add mounting hardware to each side. I highly recommend using a spirit level when doing this, a laser level is even better. Screws were included, it had a set of wood screws for mounting to a shelf or door and screws with plastic anchors for drywall. The screws are quite thick and hold up well. Note that once installed, you will leave the hardware in place indefinitely, and the hooks that the gate snaps to will protrude slightly from the wall. them with clothes.
