Review on 🐾 Paws Aboard Neoprene Dog Life Jacket: Swim & Boat Safely with this Blue/Yellow Dog Life Vest by Allison Watson

I really love it because our little (well not so little boston terrier) looks so darn cute in it. I first bought the remedy which I found too big and bulky, also it covered his small private parts and the crease/part under the neck just looked uncomfortable and big. The little one fits well, I felt that he moves well. There are two very strong Velcro straps of good size/coverage under the belly and above that there is an adjustable strap with a clip. The back Velcro strap was perfect with only about 1/2 inch around his chest, which was fine because the clip strap fitted well and held it together - I really don't mind that they weren't attached with Velcro. However I really wonder if that will stop them from diving, HE LOVES the water but swims with his girlfriends a labrador and a golden retriever, they are big and swim very far and he really can't keep up. He follows them there, and only his little head seems to stay up, so I'm not sure if that's really keeping him afloat - it's reassuring, but I'm surprised nonetheless. He is 28lbs a good size Boston Terrier but I felt the average size was too big but maybe that would have helped him float better but he wouldn't have been able to play as well with all that mass. If you are unsure I would just take 2 sizes and send one back - I really had to finish it and it was done. I read a review about the stitching and yes it was a poor job, some areas I may need to revisit, I'll see how they hold up, but overall the stitching was sewn up but not the best job and crooked in places.
