The color and pattern are both quite great. Qualitative. Definitely not for luggage. Even though I was only carrying on my carry-on, I managed to get a few scratches. It's also crucial to note that if you fill it with a lot of clothing, the latches might not close properly, and even if they do, they might cause a lot of trouble when you try to open the case. If you like to pack your bag to its utmost capacity, you should look into purchasing a model that has a zipper rather than one that does not.
