I didn't have high expectations for this thermometer as there are 487 fakes of the same thermometer. instant reading and indelible probe. Wow what a wonderful little thermometer and a great price! It's easy to use, reads very quickly and accurately, and its versatility is great. Bonus points for the magnet (sticks to my fridge and grill) and the beer opener is the icing on the cake. I grill, smoke and bake/roast a lot depending on the temperature so this is a must have tool. and it inspires confidence when you trust the pace shown. it is temporary. A reliable "go to" tool that makes me think I should buy a second one and put it away when this one expires.
