Review on 💡 TORCHSTAR Recessed Lighting Junction Downlight: Efficient and Versatile Illumination Solution by Michele Rojas

original rating 09/20/2020 Failure rate 2 out of 8 lamps after 10 months. The malfunction is odd in that the bulbs eventually turn on after about 2-5 minutes. I have NOT used with a dimmer. The company issued an RMA for a replacement - which is definitely not a hot swap and will affect my rating even after the replacement. I will add a review after a successful exchange. Update 11/26/2020: Well it happened, the third light went out the same way. Now 3 out of 8 lamps fail within a year. (I won't be posting a new photo of the dead lantern. It's the one in the corner -- to the right of the window -- in the previous photos.) Yes, the company has a 5-year warranty, but with such a high failure rate, why should do I replace them with the same ones? I'd rather give them back. (or hop in my time machine and don't even buy them) I'll end up replacing them with 6" recessed lighting banks and an LED lighting kit.
