I have a couch with individual zippered seat cushions and I also have two dogs. Neither dog is destructive, but they do hunt dirt/dirt and hop on the couch. I can vacuum my couch to remove the hair but I have had to wash the covers more times than I would like as it is difficult for my hands to put the pillows back into the covers and washing also wears them out. This case is exactly what I needed. I describe it as a stretch fitted sheet and the material is similar to pillowcases but with stretch. It fits well on my sofa, washes well and hasn't been torn by dog claws. Much easier to put on and take off when washing. Be careful though, vacuuming isn't as easy as stretching, but it can be done. Sticky rolls work well.
