Cheap, good quality, simple, very short

I love the price, quality and low profile of this stylus. Has a good O-ring on top for sealing. Great looking part. I installed this on my 1968 Ford F-250 4x4. I bought this because my 460 engine has headers, burns oil and is a rear crankcase so the threads for the stock dipstick are on the driver's side of the oil pan. It was difficult to thread the threads into the pan as the long pipe ends make it difficult to put your hands in and check it's straight. I ended up removing the head from the driver's side and setting it aside to get the space I needed for my hands and for visibility. The probe comes with a copper washer to seal it on the pan and an o-ring on the bottom, but my setup didn't require an o-ring. The bracket at the top of the dipstick attaches to the manifold mounting bolt between the #7 and #8 cylinders and protrudes approximately 2 inches. After installation you will need to make your own marks on the dipstick to ensure a full fill. Liters are few on a stick. Overall I'm very happy, but it's a bit difficult to get to on a 4x4 pickup. Thanks for reading and good luck :)
