Fits the 351w with a driver's side dipstick that screws into the oil pan. It's a bit short and on a tall truck it's pretty easy to get to the handle. It looks good and the solid aluminum handle feels good in the hand.

Too short to replace the original. This would be great for a hot rod conversion or any other application besides the big F250 truck. I could have used it if I had no other choice but luckily I was able to make a new tube out of electrical wire. This is a quality part that will definitely enhance the engine, but cannot be used to replace the stock dipstick/tube on a truck.

Pretty good, but the actual part of the dive where you take the readings is too short. It only sticks out about 2 inches from the bottom of the nut. I needed 4 inches. The tube is quite short that I could get the job done. Someone else said it was about 14 plus inches. Ideal for my application would be around 16-20. If they made the real measuring stick longer and more cuttable I would give it more stars. The app was for an '89 Kodiak Marine 460 in a jet ski.

I love the price, quality and low profile of this stylus. Has a good O-ring on top for sealing. Great looking part. I installed this on my 1968 Ford F-250 4x4. I bought this because my 460 engine has headers, burns oil and is a rear crankcase so the threads for the stock dipstick are on the driver's side of the oil pan. It was difficult to thread the threads into the pan as the long pipe ends make it difficult to put your hands in and check it's straight. I ended up removing the head from the…
