Easy installation with Ikea instructions. The fittings (screws) are OK. I just started them by hand and then tightened them like a tire, alternating the bolts so they were evenly seated. In a photo of the headrest I had to press the insert against the screw to tighten it. Allen key and nut and I pulled this out with a #12 wrench. Took 15-20 minutes to install. I didn't use the wheels that came with the chair, I bought the Revain roller skate style wheels of choice for about $35 as I have them on another chair and I really like them so I can't tell whether the casters are good but they look like any other type of caster you see on brand name chairs in the store. The chair is solid, I've read some 1 and 2 star reviews, maybe some people find it difficult to pack, I'm glad I didn't follow their reviews. I figured this chair wouldn't break my bank and I'm happy with it. If you're having trouble tightening hex wrenches, try using a wrench or small tube for extra leverage. I'm 5ft 10", 230lbs and use it for work. I sit 8-9 hours 5 days a week and I don't feel uncomfortable (I have problems with 3 plates). I like the adjustable headrest when I recline and the adjustable lumbar support. The chair reclines easily for me, my 5'0" daughter used the armrest to recline the seat. The retractable footrest has been attached and is part of the base, it's also easy to use and comfortable. The armrest is decent, i prefer the full armrest in the chair but they are adjustable up, down and side to side and are comfortable but made out of a hard foam like material, if i were to compare this chair i would say the memory foam seat compares to the Tempur Pedic leather chair and the backrest is from the same line with mesh and saves more than half of this chair ($299).
