Recommended vacuum for installation

This unit takes a full 2 hours to install (half an hour just to unpack and the rest to install). You'll need a knife, hammer, and Philips #1 ratchet screwdriver, vacuum, and maybe a drill (if you plan on wall-mounting it with the included hardware) to install. At first it seemed like the box itself was wrapped in half a roll of duct tape. Styrofoam fragments stuck everywhere after opening. I vacuumed all of the foam from each piece as I took it out, separating the items as well as any loose pieces of foam in the box. It comes with 38 1.5" Phillips #1 screws and a small screwdriver (if you choose to do this you'll add an hour to installation time and get your hands hurt), but I'd recommend using a ratchet screwdriver instead. comes in chinese only and even if you can understand the chinese instructions they are poorly done and difficult to follow. The instructions have a QR code that takes you to a web page, but the page currently has no content (maybe a work in progress.) They show the parts included first, but the images are so unclear due to minor differences. Front edge (that is the bottom of the cabinet where one hole is the doorstop and the other is for swinging the door), three shelves with no holes in the shelf surface (the top two shelves on the top and the top shelf on the bottom where the red side all three go down.) Half a shelf-size shelf runs under the drawer to support it. This uses threaded cross dowels to attach the front of the drawer and attach the top half to the bottom half. Make sure you orient the slot properly and that the Phillips side faces out when you slide it in. Step 3 is very unclear. It tries to tell you to put two pins in the cabinet door and one more in the bottom panel and slide the door into place before attaching the bottom panel (if the cabinet top and bottom panels are attached to the side "There isn't enough flexibility to push the cabinet door in without undoing the screws. When fully assembled it's a moderately strong piece of furniture, but is very crude and not optimally designed. All the front panels I have have since come loose arrived off the back is not to be left open so looks ugly but as all the shelves are supported by screws on the sides that don't countersink or hide (instead of shelf pins to avoid this) the sides look pretty cheap off and rough. It comes with hardware to stabilize the unit and prevent it from tipping over.Instructions not shown these parts or their respective installa tion Two holes drilled in the wall at the same height as the top shelf to insert us shadow anchors. Two long screws go through the plastic bracket into the wall anchors. A similar plastic bracket attaches to the back of the shelf. In theory, you should be able to slip the included strap onto the little bar in each plastic brace and somehow tighten it (it's a cumbersome design and I've decided not to use it).

Pros
  • Great for a small home
Cons
  • Nervous
