These 5 gallon bags (sizes not specified) were purchased to salt a large turkey or marinate large cuts of meat. Advertised as 2m thick, which is very convenient for pickling or pickling. .Hefty makes a huge storage bag with a 2.5 gallon capacity and 3 feet thick. I needed a bigger bag and to my surprise; The 5 gallon bags I bought that are advertised as 2m thick are thinner than the hefty 0.9 gauge hefty bags. Completely useless if you're using them to salt or marinate large cuts of meat. The product will be returned.
