I just received this folder yesterday and am very impressed with the size and washability. So many binders I looked at were too flimsy to use as a recipe book to "grow" with the chef. This one has a lot of space. Dividers are great; They actually separate entrees into main ingredients, and there's even a common entree separator for recipes that use multiple ingredients. I don't need to figure out if a recipe uses more chicken than shrimp or whatnot. I can only place it in the general classification! The cover is plastic, but it's kind of soft plastic, so it's a bit prettier than a regular folder. It's washable, which is important for a recipe binder - at least I have one in my kitchen! I bought this binder to create a custom wedding cookbook for my daughter's friend. Now I'm working on filling it with recipes that I've found particularly special over the years. It's great for what I want it for and I'm even tempted to buy it for myself as my "old" folder is filling up! I print out recipes from the internet and when I try to approve them I put them in a folder. They are not placed in a binder until deemed worthy. So I have all my favorites in one place.
