Nice and solid but very portable. It is easy to assemble and easy to take off. I was frustrated with my dogs jumping out of bed and urinating on the floor at night so I bought this to build a fence around the bed where they get off and to put pee pads on the floor for them to use . Hooray, problem solved. The floor is clean and I change the carpet sometimes. This seemed to help reduce the need to urinate at night, but when they do, it is held back. I also plan to take it with me on trips to use in the same way or as containment when the dog needs a safe area to go out.
