Review on πŸ§” QT4018/49 - Philips Norelco Beard Trimmer Series 3500: Cordless Mustache and Beard Groomer for Men, No Blade Oil Required by Ashley Long

Works as it should.

I have used Norelco beard trimmers for many years. Could this be my third in 18 years? I'm not sure if this is my second or third. I had to buy another one because the old one lost its ability to hold a charge. Either I have a goth, a beard without a mustache, or I recently had a full beard, about six months into the winter. I've always cut my hair short, so I also like trimming my beard. I can shave twice a week, so I use it twice a week, maybe less often because I might not feel the need to trim it if it doesn't look that long. I also trim my ears when I cut my hair, but most of the time I use the attachment and probably don't go under a 7 or over a 9. The attachment is slightly different from the previous trimmer. It looks like a floating guard and I was concerned that I would pinch or bend it and get an uneven cut, but so far so good, it gives a nice even cut and is easy to adjust. Another difference is the height adjustment. This one has half cuts, so like the previous one, 7.5, 8, 8.5 etc. were even numbers. It took a little getting used to, but if you want to keep your beard by all means go pacing. I've done this and I know other guys who suddenly shave because they don't look good or just think it looks good, rip their beard and cut off a chunk. Pretty funny, but half cuts are of course useful. The battery life is excellent. But then again, I don't use it every day. I'm not sure how long between charges because I drive so long I feel like it never needs a charge. This is a good price too. I checked out my local Walmart and Revain and I think it was the same model but cheaper. It might have been an even prettier model and cheaper, but I'm not sure. Overall I would recommend this product.
