Great product - my tarantula loves it!

I first bought dredged earth for my Australian bearded dragon aviary. I wanted to buy an Australian Bearded Dragon but decided to put it off; because I'm rarely at home; I'm an actor and I travel a lot; So I used Excavator's Clay to enclose my tarantula and Arogog loves it! I have a Brachypelma hamorii spider that is about 2.5 years old and about 2.2 inches long. His name is Arogog. I used coir and he didn't seem to like it very much; for I noticed that he spent most of his time climbing and dangling on the walls of his enclosure - Arogog is a desert tarantula, and I don't recall seeing a coir substrate in the desert; So I used Excavator Clay because I thought it would better mimic a more desert-like substrate. Excavator Clay is easy to use and molds easily with the right amount of water. Arogog has a large body; So I used the entire Β£20 bag. I ordered a Β£10 bag in case I wanted to create additional designs for it. Total aviary drying time for my Arogog was about three to four weeks with an indoor temperature of 70 degrees Fahrenheit and 20 pounds of excavated earth. I used some dredged earth with no water and it's like loose sand you can find in the desert. Another great thing about this product is that I can reuse and reshape it - just add the appropriate amount of water and I can start over. Arogog loves dredged earth. He has made a hole for himself by digging a hole under the artificial plant I planted in his enclosure - he feels safe and often goes on research walks at night and early in the morning. He definitely prefers dredger clay to coco. .Check 6!/s/ Alfonso Faustino
