The exhaust hose is too bulky. The instruction warns that the hose should not have sharp corners, so it should not be placed against the wall, but in the center of the room, otherwise the hose will heat up. If you try to move the unit, the exhaust pipe will fall right off the window mount. Window fittings have huge gaps that allow light and air to enter the room from outside. The tube is so opaque that it lets all the light from the street into the room and shines brightly, creating the effect of nighttime illumination, and the sunlight wakes you up in the morning. The device is so loud that when the minimum temperature is on it starts loudly every 5 minutes and causes a sleepless night. The thermostat on the unit can only be dialed down to 64 degrees, which doesn't cool the room significantly. Plastic on the device collects a lot of dust. It appears to be carrying a static charge, so it collects everything. I've had other portable air conditioners that didn't cause these problems. If you need a portable device, I advise you to look elsewhere. I am returning this and doing the same myself.
