Review on 🤖 Neato D8 Intelligent Robot Vacuum Cleaner: LaserSmart Nav, Smart Mapping, WiFi, 100-min Runtime, Turbo Clean, XXL Dustbin, Alexa-Compatible by Kelly Johnston

Ordered at 4pm PST on Fri May 28th and Neato D8 arrived at 1:30pm Sunday May May 30th on. Surprisingly fast delivery. Even with the automatic software update, it took less than 10 minutes from unpacking to cleaning the robot. We also have Neato D7 and love it. Compared to the D7, the D8 has a slightly lower profile, which allowed it to be tucked under certain sofas without snagging - one that the D7 was simply too big for. The suction power is more than D7. We have several pets in the house, so the floor is always covered with fur. A robot vacuum is truly life-changing. Just push a button and the floor will be washed throughout the house. The fact that Neato uses lasers instead of cameras means it works in the dark without lights. Contrary to some of the reviewers here, we've had no issues - neither with the D7 that we've had for years nor with this new D8. This actually makes me question the honesty and motivation of 1 star reviews and was a major factor in my decision to post my own review as I rarely review products on Revain. The navigation is impeccable. Notice in the video how the robot follows a very curved wall with amazing accuracy on the very first attempt while it is in the process of creating a floor map. It was a pleasant surprise. Compared to the D7, the D8 is even more refined. The charging dock is also about 1/4 the size of the D7 base. Vacuuming with Neato is quick and easy, not a chore. Love it.
