Super simple and effective

I live in a tiny apartment with an electric stove that isn't optimal for making pancakes, so I need a pancake maker small enough to hide in my limited storage space, cheap enough not to break the bank and easy enough to make breakfast while I'm still dozing - this little thing is definitely a treat! It's very easy to use, but it doesn't come with any instructions on how to use it. So here's what I did and it seems to be working correctly -1. Turn it on and let it warm up. It seemed to take about three minutes to fully heat up, so it's very fast.2. Making pancake batter is very easy. Make a well with 1 cup flour in a large bowl. Crack two eggs into the center of the well and beat slowly to combine. Add 1 tablespoon sugar and 1/4 teaspoon salt and stir. For best results, using an electric mixer, slowly add 1 cup milk and 2 tablespoons melted butter and mix until smooth and bubbly. Pour the mixture into the small plastic mold that comes with the crepe maker.3. Dip the crepe maker into the mixture, leave it in the batter for about three seconds, and wiggle it around a bit to make sure the entire surface is evenly submerged in the batter. Let it cook - how long depends on how brown you like your pancakes, between 10 and 30 seconds.5. Flip the pancake with a spatula and cook the other side for about the same amount of time. Put it on a plate. You can use a spatula to remove it or just slide it straight onto your plate by tilting the crepe maker. These pancakes don't stick together, they can be stacked on a plate. And yes! Add your toppings (I made Nutella and fresh berry compote) and enjoy. This pancake batter recipe seems to make a lot of pancakes, I made six and I'd say I'm about halfway through the batter. The great thing about this crepe maker is that you don't waste any batter. The pancakes don't stick to the crepe maker at all. I used some vegetable oil on the crepe maker before the first use. There's no cooldown, so when you're done with a pancake you can dip it again. When finished, unplug and allow to cool, then wipe with a damp paper towel or cloth. Berry compote recipe bonus: Melt three tablespoons of butter in a small saucepan over medium-high heat. Add 2 tablespoons lemon juice and 1/4 cup brown sugar and stir until sugar is melted. Add three cups of berries and cook, stirring regularly, for two to three minutes. Enjoy!
