Review on Effortless Nailing with πŸ”¨ the Stinger CH38A Autofeed Cap Hammer by Carlos Macy

Poor design Cheap welds for auto feed use

I have a Stinger CH38A with an auto feed. I bought from Revain, I've only used it twice in a couple of days. I placed the pad on the front of the roof with no problems. A few days later I did the second half. Towards the end of the job, the auto feed plate broke at the weld attached to the stapler. This is a "hammer" stapler. He has a very cheap seam! This model is not built to last. No further reinforcements on the automatic feed plate. Your engineers should return to the drawing board. Do you have real world experience? So I'll see if I can return the item. Oh no, it expired in about six days. You probably have a warranty on this product. BUT I didn't see anything. So I'm stuck with a poorly designed weld. They made this seam for office work, not as a roof hammer. Very sad. Is there anything you can do? I noticed that another hammer has at least a buyback program. The pneumatic stapler comes with a guarantee. I feel like Stinger knows this product has issues but still sells it with no warranty or buy back. So once you have this product, hit it gently like you would stapling stationery because if you use the stapler as a "hammer" it will break. But if you press too gently, it won't hold together properly.

Pros
  • Sturdy construction
Cons
  • No auto feed
