Just unpacked. Seems strong enough. The duvet has loops in each corner, but the bedspread does not have a drawstring in each corner. To keep everything in place I think you need to flip the cover over to connect the loops to the ties. However, having a 20 pound blanket seems a bit tricky when you have to flip it. Maybe use buttons instead of ties. Also, a small zipper hole of about 12 inches seems too small to miss a 20 lb king size comforter. hope it lasts
