Review on NUTRO Wholesome Essentials Dry Cat Food - Salmon and Brown Rice Recipe by Kayla Gonzalez

I was concerned my cat would not like it after years of using Nutro Max Cat Adult but had no problems. The food is no longer in the form of small cats, but that was more for me - the cat doesn't care. The zipper is good too. My main issue is that it's way more expensive than Nutro Max Cat which I've been using for years. I would pay $12 to $15 for a 14 pound bag of groceries and have it delivered every few months. Max Cat was a great price that I couldn't find in any other store or brand. Nutro Wholesome Essentials is $15 for a 6 pound bag! This ranges from just over $1 a pound to as much as $2.50 a pound! I wonder why the price went up.
