Review on Hannah Natural 100 Henna Powder by Katie Washington

It turns out that at work I can only dye my hair a natural color. So red. I thought this product might be too good to be true because of the price but gosh I was surprised. I used a mixture of 1 part lemon juice (cheap stuff that works) and 2 parts water, adding them randomly little by little until I had the consistency of ketchup/yogurt. I covered it and left it in a dark place at room temperature overnight. When I came back to this, the pasta no longer looked like bad guacamole (it still had chunks in it) but was very smooth and looked more orange on top. I then stirred it, added a little more lemon juice and water to restore the yogurt consistency, and I was on my way. As I've learned the hard way, spreading it out section by section is a good idea as the paste is not smooth at all and will cause your hair to get tangled. I left it for 3 hours. It comes with gloves and a shower cap which was a bonus I didn't expect. My hair is short, mid-nape, of medium thickness, and one of the henna sachets (there are two 50 gram sachets) fitted perfectly, leaving me a little redundant for touch-ups. I don't have a before photo, but I have light brown hair. Also, don't be alarmed if your hair turns more orange than expected on the first day, it will get darker. Mine was orange-red and turned maroon. You will get so many compliments. So much.
