Two compartments: a smaller top compartment (with some basic manicure and pedicure essentials) and a larger bottom compartment for nail polish. I love the quilted finish and the material has a nice sheen to it. This small set can store a lot of things and it will carry and hold my nail polish well and I can also use it for pens or my gadgets. It is beautifully made and durable, inside there are zip pockets and sleeves. The zip works smoothly, although I found the zip itself frustratingly flimsy, I hope they can change that. But for the price, it's still pretty good for the most part.
