After looking at many other stainless steel pots, I chose this one because it's a solid construction and not concerned about possible leaks under the divider. It is very easy to care for, light and heats up quickly. By my calculations, it will cook for 10-15 minutes. Instead I don't cook directly, I cook the food in a separate pan and then transfer it to this double pan when the food is ready. I use it on my tabletop gas stove for our get togethers. The pot will be hot to the touch, so be careful when using it. If the soup base is oily, it will heat up even faster. Highly recommended.
