Strong strong light; excellent tripod; very simple structure. Works perfectly.

UBeesize sent me this flashlight for review as I have purchased their previous products. I'm a home user, not a prosumer. I use my iPhone X as a webcam. My office is very bright and with no light on my face I look pale and gray in zoom. high quality cameras and more professional setup. The only way to judge UBeesize as less than "universal" is how big it really is. The UBeesize 16" is a large ring of light. The camera or cellphone mount is also large. The tripod is sturdy and well-made, but occupies a large area. If you're short on space, this light can be tricky. The main factor is that smaller ring lights don't work really well I ended up sending mine back as did my partner because they just didn't put out much light so if you've decided on a ring light and if you have a bright area to work with then is This light is your best bet. We tried 8" and 12" ring lights and they weren't very bright. The 16" UBeesize is quite large, but it will provide the light you need to complete your look really changing in Zoom If you don't know why you need a ring light, the answer is you don't need it. It doesn't cast shadows. The light is perfectly even in its printed. This performance is reinforced by superior light temperature settings from "warm" to "bright". You can make yourself look really easy in terms of white balance. If that is what you want and you have room for a large tripod and ring then this is the product for you. The plastic remote works very well (with the caveat below). Light dims without remote control. One downside here, and I've noticed it in other reviews, is that the *least* bright setting is still pretty bright. Remember that when you turn on this light you will be working with high brightness. I don't see that as a problem, but if you're in a dark room, that light might be overdone. One note: the "5%" button on the remote doesn't actually work. You can make the light much dimmer with the standard brightness control on the remote control. I'm by no means a pro, but this light seems spot on for the capabilities of a large camera. I'll leave it to those better equipped to judge how well suited UBeesize is to a professional setup. From my amateur point of view, I'm sure that with UBeesize 16" I can get all the lighting effects I need. I really like it and I recommend it. Just be aware that it's good to have it next to your table. For example, if a person always stands there with a large ring instead of a head, notice their presence in your office.

Pros
  • Intelligent control functions. The ring LED lamp is equipped with a touch panel and a wireless remote control that allows you to fine-tune the lighting settings and change the color temperature or brightness levels remotely.
Cons
  • Some errors
