You'll never need a stand again
JUST BUY IT. It wasn't cheap (I paid $35 for a 4-8 foot tall Goliath tree stand) but definitely worth it if you don't bother with cheap tin that will make you bend or fall off the tree . It's made of heavy-duty welded steel, has plenty of screws so you can hold the wrong tree straight, and will hold trees up to 1 1/4 inches in diameter. It'll last a lot longer than the fake trees you use it with, so it's worth paying double the price for the terrible ones. (Though I wish it was cheaper!) It's even made in the USA!
