I don't think it has been more than 5 years that RS5000 shocks have been fitted to my jeep and my right rear shock failed (last picture is a dirty shock). As I can't find the receipt I had to buy a new one which has since been updated. The original didn't have a dust bag, the new one does - and it's made of plastic, not rubber. This worries me because of the close proximity of the exhaust pipe to the shock absorber. The size and inelastic nature of the shock also makes access to the aforementioned bolts difficult. The pictures are from a video I made, but it's more boring than watching the sand heat up in the midday sun. The shock seems to be working fine. I'll be out on track in a week so hopefully I won't have any retirements. It fits and works, but this boot just makes fitting a little bit fun. Specifically the screw closest to the frame guide.
