I've had them for a few months now and the price is great. I didn't test it because I didn't have a comparison, but I just bought an expensive Mitutoyo set for my work and they both feel and work very similarly. Mine came in a red case so there may have been changes. Mine aren't perfectly polished, but much better than some of the photos, with no signs of scratches or pitting, and very comparable to Mitutoyo. Comparing both sets, I noticed that both pop out and give large readings using the traditional method of tilting the gauge through the bore. I had the best results when I installed the sensor as straight as possible before fixing it and pushed it out straight. This eliminates the need to press the plungers against the lock. Technique and feel seem to be crucial for both kits, so I'll go with the one that's 1/10th the price.
