With these I have successfully resized to 1/2 inch and inserted the included probes to give my ear time to adjust before putting in anything out of the ordinary. The single flash makes it easy, but the edge is SO SHARP! It hurt a little the next day which was weird but I cleaned it very well and left. The next day it got worse. The next day, due to the bad reaction, I realized I should do that and immediately took them out. It was disgusting. I was shocked to see how badly he reacted and the swelling was huge. Despite the slow stretching process and constant cleaning, a terrible infection developed. Either I cut myself inserting the sharp-edged sensor and it became infected, or I reacted to the material.
