Chose the unit with the assistance of a Senville tech. Took 7 hours to install by local HVAC tech. Cost me $700 to install. It blows ac at 45 degrees. A central HVAC blows at 19 degrees. This unit cannot get the temp lower than 79 degrees when it is over 95 outside. However, the 79 feels great and we even look for blankets sometimes. Over all I'm disappointed as it does not meet up to all the hype. Perhaps I should have got a bigger unit as the 12btu does cool our smaller room decently. I have felt other units in town that work far better. The service was very decent as they eventually returned all my calls. They did have multiple shipping snafus though. Poor communication with FedEx?Update - It's about a year later and I've learned the unit works best by starting early on hot days. If I leave it at 74 when I come home after work the temp is close and it feels really good (with low humidity). If I wait and start the unit when I get home, the unit can't get ahead. You can't treat it like a central HVAC and have good results. It also works best in a tight room. If you have a drafty room (inside doors, vents, split level, vaulted ceilings or skylights) expect it to struggle a little.
