When it comes to the warm look of halogen lamps, LEDs have not yet caught up in landscape lighting. My setup used 7 watt bulbs which I found to be a bit underpowered. I opted for the 12 watt versions and am very happy with the improvement. Caution: Make sure your setup can handle it. From the very first use, check the cable, connector and mounting to ensure they don't overheat. Also, for the 12 watt version, make sure they are used in bulbs with a focused beam pattern. They are a bit bright unless used in headlights or "top hat" lights. I have used them every night (6 hours) for 2 months and they have worked well.
