Dark Gray instead of Black

This cable is 50% lighter than paracord. The image looks black and black, which is what I wanted, but it's actually slate gray. It still works well with camouflage color schemes. It melts from a lighter, but not cleanly and not quickly. Usually a knot is tied at the end or the end is burned after working with the rope, but this rope starts to unravel too easily. I sewed small loops of this rope onto the water bladder cover I made and in some places the rope just lost its tight weave through manipulation. I've included a photo of the loose weave. Overall I am satisfied with this rope. It's incredibly durable, lightweight, and has a smaller profile to fit in my backpack for things like ridges and other outdoor uses. This rope can be a bit more challenging compared to paracord, but its other qualities still make it worth buying.
